Great to meet you!

I take a thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized approach to psychiatric care. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences, symptoms, and treatment goals through a supportive and professional approach.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a background in both clinical practice and nursing education. This allows me to combine evidence-based psychiatric care with a practical understanding of the challenges many adults face in their day-to-day lives.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD through personalized psychiatric evaluations and medication management.

My goal is to provide a professional and supportive environment where individuals feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their treatment planning. Care is focused on supporting emotional wellness, symptom improvement, stability, and overall daily functioning.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and individualized approach to psychiatric care, recognizing that each person’s experiences, symptoms, and treatment needs are unique. My focus is on understanding the full picture of your mental health concerns to develop a treatment plan that is both effective and realistic for your day-to-day life.

Care includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management tailored to your individual needs. Treatment decisions are guided by evidence-based practices while ensuring you remain informed, comfortable, and actively involved throughout the process.

I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and a supportive treatment experience focused on emotional wellness, symptom improvement, stability, and overall daily functioning. My goal is to help individuals feel more confident, supported, and better equipped to manage their mental health over time.

What you can expect from me

During your first appointment, you can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding your current symptoms, concerns, treatment goals, and overall mental health needs.

We will review your mental health history, medical background, previous treatments, and current or past medications to help develop a personalized and evidence-based treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

When appropriate, treatment recommendations, including medication options, will be discussed along with potential benefits, risks, and expectations for care. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and actively participate in treatment planning and next steps.

The goal of the initial appointment is to provide a supportive and professional environment where you feel informed, understood, and clear about your treatment plan moving forward.
