Great to meet you!

Hi, I look forward to meeting you and helping you get moving in a better direction. Have you been struggling with day to say issues and struggle to think clearly, wonder what you can do to feel calmer, more focused, more productive and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you? I want to help you and have the skills you need to learn to help you feel like you have a handle on your life and your thinking.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor degree in Human Development . I have experience with crisis counseling, telehealth, and home mental health therapy which eventually led me to private practice. I’ve worked with grief, chronic illness, life transitions, anxiety, depression, self esteem, and PTSD. I offer individual counseling.

Some focus areas of mine include Anxiety, Depression and PTSD, avoidance issues, complex interpersonal dynamics, life transitions, and navigating high-pressure environments. I have extensive training in trauma-focused CBT, DBT, collaborative problem-solving. If you are feeling exhausted and isolated, want change but need help finding the motivation to begin, or are just looking for some answers, we may be a promising therapeutic fit.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic view of clients as everyone is dealing with different issues from different backgrounds and in various environments. Some of my focus areas include Anxiety, Depression and PTSD, avoidance issues, complex interpersonal dynamics, life transitions, and family of origin issues. I am trained in trauma-focused CBT, DBT, trauma informed care, collaborative problem-solving. If you are feeling exhausted and isolated, want to make a change and not sure where to start and looking for motivation to begin, or are just looking for some answers, we may be a promising therapeutic fit.

What you can expect from me

Unlike traditional therapy, I am not a "blank slate" or the all-knowing expert; rather, I bring my authentic self-an imperfect human-into session. I invite my clients to do the same, encouraging a co-created path to growth. I also like to give clients practical skills to help them manage their symptoms and issues between sessions.
