Great to meet you!

Life can look successful on the outside while feeling exhausting on the inside. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, women's issues, trauma, or major life transitions, therapy offers a place to slow down, gain perspective, and reconnect with yourself.

I'm Dr. Alina Solodkin, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years of experience helping adults create meaningful, lasting change. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and direct, creating a space where you feel genuinely heard while also being challenged to grow. Together we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy coping skills, and build practical strategies that support confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it's built on trust, honesty, and collaboration. Every person brings unique experiences, so I tailor treatment to your goals instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions combine reflection with practical tools that help you create meaningful changes outside of therapy.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship conflict, or navigating life transitions, we'll develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and create sustainable habits that support long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply the beginning of getting to know your story. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you'd like life to look like, and create goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

Clients often leave sessions feeling lighter, more understood, and equipped with practical strategies they can begin using immediately. Over time, you can expect greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, improved confidence, stronger emotional resilience, and effective tools to manage anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, and life's inevitable changes with greater clarity and purpose.
