Great to meet you!

I am a BIPOC therapist with 6 years of clinical experience working with individuals across the lifespan (e.g. children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults). I am experienced in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and I am culturally competent to work with a wide range of communities (including BIPOC and, GNC, LGBTQIA+, PLWH (people living with HIV/AIDS).

My approach to therapy

I am experienced in providing client centered care and utilize evidence-based practices. I have extensive training to provide both substance abuse (MAR) counseling and mental health (behavioral health) therapy. I am a trauma-informed and EMDR trained therapist.

What you can expect from me

I create a safe, compassionate, space which promotes an environment centered around loving-kindness, empathic understanding, growth, and healing. I aim to meet my clients where they are at and guide them on their journey to re-write their story or change the narrative of their life.

I will help to guide you and to equip you with the skills that you need to work through life's challenges to achieve your goals. I create a welcoming and supportive space where you can feel understood and valued.

We are each climbing our own, individual, mountain and at times we need to take a break, to find a restorative space, where we can be both vulnerable and brave so that we may continue to journey forward--to conquer life's challenges.
