Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Allie Acosta, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two years of experience supporting individuals through life transitions, trauma, and interpersonal challenges. As a first-generation Latina, I understand the unique pressures of balancing cultural expectations, family dynamics, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based and trauma-informed. I work collaboratively with clients to process past experiences, build insight into patterns that may be holding them back, and strengthen their support systems. I aim to foster a safe and trusting space where clients feel supported enough to confront and challenge patterns that no longer serve them, creating space for healing and transformation.

What you can expect from me

It is so normal to feel uncertain about what our first session might look like. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace as we discuss what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask questions to better understand your background and identify patterns that could be contributing to distress, but there is no pressure to share everything at once. By the end of our session, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps to support meaningful growth and healing.
