Great to meet you!

I specialize in trauma, attachment wounds, and deeply rooted emotional and relationship patterns in high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck despite appearing successful externally. I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and psychodynamic therapy to help clients better understand themselves, process trauma, and create lasting shifts in the way they relate to themselves and others.

My approach is warm, engaged, active, and insight-oriented, balancing deeper exploratory work with practical tools for meaningful change. I help clients make sense of what is happening beneath the surface and work collaboratively to create changes that feel real, sustainable, and emotionally meaningful.

I work with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, and long-standing relational patterns. If you are looking for therapy that goes beyond symptom management and supports deeper healing, insight, and lasting transformation, I would be glad to connect for a consultation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I believe that symptoms such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck often make sense when viewed in the context of a person’s life experiences, relationships, and nervous system. Rather than simply managing symptoms, I work with clients to understand the underlying patterns that keep them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy to help clients process trauma, develop insight, build practical coping skills, and create lasting change. Depending on a client’s goals, we may explore childhood experiences and attachment patterns, identify unhelpful beliefs, strengthen emotion regulation, or process traumatic memories in a safe and structured way.

Above all, I strive to create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where clients feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Therapy is about helping you better understand yourself, heal from painful experiences, and build a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we’re a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can share your concerns at your own pace. You never have to tell your entire story in the first appointment.

We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current symptoms, relevant personal and relationship history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and the factors that may be contributing to your difficulties. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and develop an initial treatment plan tailored to your needs.

You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions about my approach, the therapy process, or anything else that’s important to you. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer understanding of how we’ll work together and the next steps toward helping you feel more grounded, understood, and supported.
