Great to meet you!

As an Ivy League–educated, doctorally prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide medication management and supportive psychotherapy for adults 18 and older. I treat a wide range of diagnoses including but not limited to depression, anxiety and panic disorders, bipolar spectrum disorders, PTSD and adjustment disorders, ADHD, grief, sleep disorders and alcohol or substance use disorders.

I completed my RN, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees at Columbia University. I work with individuals through significant life transitions— college and career pressures, family, relationship, and parenting challenges, chronic illness, aging, and major lifestyle changes. This experience has strengthened my understanding of the interconnected nature of physical and mental health, identity, and the demands of daily life.

At the core of my practice is the belief that each person deserves thoughtful, personalized, evidence-based care. I take time to understand each patient’s unique history, strengths, symptoms, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is supportive, collaborative and education-focused. I want patients to understand the purpose, benefits, and mechanisms of any medication they take. While medication can be helpful, I view it as one part of a broader, holistic plan. I incorporate symptom-targeted psychotherapy into sessions to complement medication and support long-term wellbeing.

Rather than relying on a single therapeutic style, I pull from multiple evidence-based approaches including CBT, motivational interviewing, relational therapy, exposure therapy, and strength-based strategies. This flexibility allows me to meet each patient where they are and adapt care to their needs.

Overall, my goal is to create a structured space where patients can deepen their understanding, build practical tools, and feel actively involved in their treatment.

What you can expect from me

I offer a free 15-minute pre-screen call to discuss your goals and determine overall fit.

During the intake, we will review your reasons for seeking care, psychiatric and medical history, family and lifestyle factors, and the symptoms affecting your daily life. We will identify goals and discuss whether psychotherapy, medication, or both feel appropriate. Treatment does not need to begin with medication, and any recommendations are presented with transparency and attention to your comfort.
