Great to meet you!

Anxiety, depression, trauma, and a host of other challenges can rob us of our identity and potential in life. The importance of finding a person you feel safe exploring the brightest and darkest parts of you with can’t be overstated. My goal is to help you see and achieve your unique potential, to uncover and release that beautiful self within you beneath the wounds of life, and ultimately – to feel better!

Before finding a good therapist, many people find themselves feeling paralyzed by not knowing what to do, where to go, or what to say. I get it. Rest assured, I’m really easy to talk to, and I will never judge you.

I have a Masters of Social Work and am fully independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. I am also currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting or drawing.

My approach to therapy

I have a wide range of experience working with mental health disorders and other challenges. I am most experienced helping resolve problems associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQIA2+ related challenges, as well as helping service members, veterans, and military families. I have additional expertise in anger management, crisis response, domestic violence prevention and response, and grief counseling.

I have an eclectic approach to therapy and use a variety of skills stemming from Non-Violent Communication, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Jungian Psychology, Internal Family Systems, and others. You can expect your treatment to be customized for where you are and who you are - right now.

What you can expect from me

In your first session you can expect to meet someone warm, curious, and genuinely interested in you as a person. I'm really easy to talk to and working with me feels like talking with a professional and educated friend or guide. I will ask questions about yourself, your history, your preferences, and your family. I go slower in the beginning than most therapists because understanding you as a whole person is very important to me, and in my strong opinion, to an effective therapeutic journey.
