Great to meet you!

Hello! So glad you’re here. My name is Amanda; I am a mental health therapist (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) with over 15 years of experience. I have a background working with people who have survived interpersonal trauma and abuse, emotional distress, grief, chronic physical pain, depression, and anxiety. I use an integrative approach to therapy rooted in Narrative therapy, CBT/DBT, and mind-body connectedness modalities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work in a very relational way and feel it’s important to create a trusting connection so that we can work together to figure out what can be most helpful for restoring balance in your life. I do my best to create warmth and safety in the support I provide so that difficult topics can be explored together respectfully and thoughtfully.

What you can expect from our first session

Starting with a phone consultation, we can figure out if my style is a good fit for you. Then in a first session we explore your goals and set the pace for how we work together to accomplish those goals. My hope is for you to feel understood and have a space to build a deeper and more compassionate connection to self.
