As a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, working with people of all ages and walks of life has taught me the importance of nonjudgmental treatment because every person is unique, just like their story. As a 26 year Registered Nurse with an undergraduate degree in social work, I have a great deal of experience providing compassionate care. As a mom of 3, I understand the challenges of being a working parent and seek to support the families I serve with a wholistic and nurturing approach.

When I work with clients, I use a relaxed style with kindness and humor. I also find that a warm and affirming approach is helpful, especially when working with kids. I use a combination of medication management and psychotherapy to achieve the greatest outcome for each and every client I see.

In the first session, I strive to help new clients feel safe and comfortable. I spend time listening to a client's history and understanding their goals. Then we decide on a treatment plan together based on the goals that are most important to individual clients or to children and their families.
