Great to meet you!

Most people who reach out have already been carrying something for a while. Maybe it is anxiety that will not quiet down, stress that has just become the background hum of daily life, or something that happened that you have not fully dealt with yet. I work with adults and seniors navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions that can catch you off guard even when you saw them coming. Over more than 11 years in the social work field, my focus has stayed the same: helping people feel genuinely supported, understood, and more equipped to handle what is in front of them. I also believe humor belongs in therapy. Not to make light of hard things, but because real connection matters and a little lightness can make the honest conversations easier to have.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is collaborative, and what we are building toward is real and usable. For clients dealing with anxiety, we focus on shifting the patterns that keep the spiral going. For those carrying trauma or the weight of past experiences, we work on processing what happened in ways that actually move the needle rather than just revisiting it. I do not follow a rigid script. Every client is different, and I look for ways to connect that fit who you are and what you need. The goal is always something practical: leaving sessions with more clarity, more steadiness, and a stronger sense that you have something to work with.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We will talk about what brought you in, what you are hoping for, and what has or has not worked before. There is no pressure to arrive with everything figured out. If you are ready to take a first step, or just want to see if we might be a good fit, I would love to hear from you.
