Great to meet you!

Welcome to my therapy room, a warm, non-judgmental space where we’ll uncover your inner wisdom together.

As a therapist, I bring a person-centered, solution-focused approach, believing the answers you seek are already within you, waiting to be illuminated with a gentle flashlight. I tailor our work to your unique needs, listening deeply as an introvert and guiding you with straightforward care, diving into the heart of healing without lingering on small talk. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a Polish refugee from the 1980s, I’ve navigated trauma and resilience, which informs my empathic practice in my 40s. . My hobbies, include hiking, board games, reading, drinking tea and playing with cats.

My approach to therapy

How I Work — Therapeutic Toolbox:

I draw on a blend of evidence-based and creative practices:

  • Somatic Therapy (Eastern-inspired, body-based awareness)
  • CBT (challenging thought distortions)
  • ACT (“and” vs “or” thinking)
  • AEDP (uncovering emotions beneath anxiety)
  • Compassionate Inquiry (using personal stories to foster awareness)
  • Motivational Interviewing (aligning actions with values)
  • Shadow Work (exploring hidden patterns)
  • Poetry (especially meaningful for writers/poets)
  • Gottman Couples Assessment (only $39—a roadmap for deeper connection)

What you can expect from me

Our sessions are collaborative and tailored—with a mix of playful honesty and grounded presence.
