Great to meet you!

I specialize in adults, and work especially well with women and men who are navigating midlife stress, shifting identities, and deep burnout from years of managing work, family, and other people’s needs. My clients are often high functioning on the outside but exhausted, irritable, overwhelmed, or quietly asking themselves how much longer they can keep doing this.

Therapy with me isn’t about endless venting or being told to “just cope better.” My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, with a strong focus on helping you feel better in real, tangible ways.

In our work together, I will act as a guide and partner. We focus on what’s getting in the way - stress, sleep issues, emotional overload, relationship strain, or the lingering impact of past experiences and develop practical strategies that support healing and resilience. I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be honest, direct, and fully yourself, without having to minimize what you’re feeling or take care of anyone else.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from UCLA and a Psychology degree from the University of Denver. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me hiking, paddleboarding, or cheering on my youngest daughter at her high school softball games.

With 28 years of marriage and raising three daughters under my belt, life has taught me to be flexible, resilient, and always open to new possibilities, lessons I bring into my work with clients every day.

If you’re feeling stuck, stretched thin, or ready for something to change, I’d be honored to help you find your way forward.

My approach to therapy

Asking for help isn’t easy, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. So if you’re here, it likely means you’ve reached a point where pushing through isn’t working anymore. Therapy should feel purposeful, grounded, and actually useful - not performative or overly precious. This is your time, and it should align with what you want to change in your life.

My role is to be a steady, practical guide. I’ll help you get clear on what’s no longer working, point out patterns you may be too close to see, and respectfully challenge you to think about things in ways that create movement, not more noise. We’ll focus on strategies that make day-to-day life feel more manageable, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, poor sleep, constant overwhelm, or the sense that everything has become heavier than it should be.

You won’t be doing this alone, but you also won’t be coddled. We’ll work as partners, moving forward at a pace that respects your time, your energy, and your capacity. The goal is relief, clarity, and a stronger sense of control one step at a time.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you want to be different, and we’ll begin shaping a plan that fits your life, not someone else’s expectations. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply worn down, you don’t have to figure it out alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you take the next step forward.
