Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. :) I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, hospice, and mental health counseling. My primary focus areas are grief, loss, serious illness, caregiving, and end-of-life concerns, and I am passionate about helping people navigate life's most difficult transitions with support and compassion.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and cared for. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can process challenges, build coping skills, and move toward healing at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Together, we'll explore the situations, relationships, experiences, and patterns that may be contributing to what you're going through, while building a deeper understanding of yourself and your strengths.

I have a special interest in grief, loss, life transitions, and end-of-life concerns. I also incorporate an understanding of how the brain responds to stress, loss, trauma, and change, helping clients make sense of their experiences while developing practical tools for healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about your concerns, your goals, and what has helped—or not helped—in the past.

You can expect a supportive, judgment-free conversation where there is no pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we'll begin identifying strengths, resources, and next steps that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
