I am a double Board-Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with qualifications as an Autonomous practitioner in the Family and Psychiatric Mental Health care areas. I have completed more than 7 years in the Psychiatric Mental Health area and 8 years in Family practice over a broad population in the community and outpatient care. I have special areas of interest in psychiatric mental health, not only managing different ages (pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations), multiple cultures, and a variety of disorders

My approach to providing care centers on a collaborative, person-centered, and evidence-based model that treats the whole person, not just symptoms, but also the root of the problem, focusing on possible physical determinants that may be detrimental to the patient's mental health. It prioritizes building a strong, empathetic, and respectful partnership with the patient, incorporating their goals, cultural values, and preferences into a shared, actionable treatment plan.

Clients can expect a warm, confidential, and welcoming atmosphere focused on building trust, rapport, and understanding their goals. The first session usually involves reviewing intake paperwork, discussing what prompted them to seek therapy, exploring current challenges, and identifying initial goals for treatment.
