Great to meet you!

When you're the person everyone depends on, it's easy to lose track of your own needs.

You may be juggling work, relationships, caregiving responsibilities, family expectations, or major life transitions while quietly carrying stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion behind the scenes. If you're also navigating cultural expectations, intergenerational family dynamics, or the challenges of balancing different roles and identities, it can be especially difficult to know whose needs to prioritize—including your own.

Therapy is a place where your needs finally get to take up space.

I'm Andrea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the complexities of family relationships and different cultural expectations. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you better understand yourself. Together, we'll explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or feelings of being stuck. We'll also identify strengths that can help you create healthier boundaries, navigate challenges more effectively, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to your unique experiences, goals, and values. My goal is to help you build lasting change that feels authentic and sustainable rather than adding more pressure to an already full life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know what has brought you to therapy and what you hope will be different moving forward. You don't need to have all the answers before we begin.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or disconnected from the person they want to be. Over time, they often develop greater self-awareness, healthier boundaries, stronger coping skills, and a renewed sense of confidence in themselves and their decisions.

Therapy isn't about becoming someone new. It's about reconnecting with yourself beneath the stress, expectations, and roles you've been carrying.

If you're tired of feeling like everyone else's needs come before your own, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect, and begin creating a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. I'd be honored to support you as you take that next step.
