Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel scary or overwhelming, and my goal is to make that process feel as comfortable, supportive, and safe as possible. I believe that while life can be challenging, everyone deserves the opportunity to feel happy, balanced, and thriving. I am here to support you through life’s ups and downs and help you work toward becoming the healthiest and most authentic version of yourself.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 14 years of experience working in a variety of settings and with individuals across the lifespan, from birth through older adulthood. While I have a special connection with adolescents and members of the LGBTQ community, I truly enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

I have experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ related concerns. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. I tailor treatment to meet each client’s individual needs, recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and that meaningful change happens through collaboration, trust, and a strong therapeutic relationship. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you as you begin or continue your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, the concerns or challenges you are experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will also ask questions about your background, relationships, and history so I can better understand your experiences and needs. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin working together.
