I usually try to gather as much information from patients medical/mental health history and possibly order lab work and testing to find the best course of action. These options will be made available to patients so that, together, we can come up with a plan that will address their mental health goals that were mentioned in their initial consult.
I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
