Great to meet you!

Hey there! I’m Angelique, the therapist you want if you’re ready to understand yourself on a deeper level and actually start feeling different in your everyday life.

Inner child healing and boundary-setting are my passions. I want to hear what you’re going through and together find a way toward experiencing life that feels calmer, safer, and more connected—especially in your relationships.

I’ll create a space where it’s safe to explore, process, and just be yourself, without judgment. With me, you can expect honesty, humor, a little sarcasm, and yes... maybe even some swearing if that’s what the moment calls for.

I have a Master of Science in Child Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University, and licensed in both MO & KS. Therapist since 2017.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to “clear the confusion around how your brain and patterns work.” I want you to leave sessions feeling lighter, understood, and truly seen.

I take my knowledge of human development, relationships, and psychology and make it feel grounded and relatable—so it’s easier to actually apply in your real life and relationships in a meaningful way.

Expect a lot of self-compassion, "aha moments", space for grief, a good meme or metaphor, some cursing if needed... and yes, sometimes sandtray or a fidget tool. This is therapy that makes room for your inner child to heal.

What you can expect from me

I like to begin by getting to know you—what you’ve been through, the relationships that have shaped you, and how YOU see the world.

I’ll learn what you’d like to accomplish, and together we’ll collaborate on how to get there in a way that feels realistic and aligned for you.

The type of therapy I use is always tailored to the individual, couple, or child—because no two people or relationships are the same. That said, I tend to lean into emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, trauma-informed, and play-centered approaches.
