Great to meet you!

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years.

My license is in Professional Counseling and I primarily serve adolescent and adult populations. In addition to psychotherapy, I am also an educator.

Since education means a lot to me, I am a perpetual student and have obtained the following degrees:

-B.A., Psychology and Philosophy

-B.A., English Literature

-M.A., Philosophical Psychology

-M.A., Secondary Education

-Ed.S., Education

-Ed.S./Ed.D. ABD, Cultural Curriculum Studies

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in psychodynamic, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and existential analysis, which means I help clients explore the deeper emotional patterns and unconscious dynamics that shape their present struggles. I also guide them in confronting core existential questions—around meaning, freedom, isolation, and identity—that often underlie emotional pain. Additionally, if desired, I can also work from a Christian perspective.

What you can expect from me

Client's can expect me to be honest, transparent, and to actually pay attention to them.

If clients engage in the work, they should expect insight and increased understanding of themselves and their relationship to the world.
