Ariel Pertosoff

I graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in Social Work along with a master's degree in Clinical Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I have worked in a variety of settings with children/adolescents including community mental health agencies, schools, youth shelters, domestic violence/rape crisis centers, and child advocacy centers. I provide therapy for children and adolescents who are experiencing a variety of mental health concerns.

I specialize in individual therapy with children and adolescents between the ages of 5-19. I enjoy incorporating art expression and other creative interventions into treatment. I am also certified in the Circle of Security parenting model. Other modalities I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

I am passionate about providing a space for children and adolescents to feel supported and heard. It is important for them to have a place that is their own as they navigate their individuation process. I hold a non-biased and affirming space for healing as I support each client's individual therapeutic journey. My therapeutic approach values differences in cultures, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities, family make-up, bodies and abilities. I am a culturally sensitive therapist.
