I am a full time mom with over 20 years in Social Work. I have worked with many populations from children to end of life seniors. I have experience working in hospitals, schools, ER's, inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics and more. I will meet you where you are at, actively listen and help you choose your own solutions.
I like to use a holistic approach, being sure to truly listen to understand you and your goals. I use a person centered approach which means you are in charge...sessions are driven by client. My moto is to meet people where they are at, assuring they are comfortable with the changes they choose to make and to help set them up for success.
My clients and families tell me that I am easy to talk to and that just having someone actively listen, someone truly hear their story is extremely helpful and validating. It is important to me that you are comfortable and trust that I will support you in your decisions. If you feel like you just had coffee with a friendly confident, then I am doing a good job!
