Great to meet you!

Thank you for considering me to be a part of your mental health journey. Reaching out for help as an individual or a parent can be anxiety provoking and it is my goal to be as transparent about therapy and mental health treatment as possible to ensure you feel comfortable with choosing me to be your therapist. My background consists of working for a Crisis Hotline, a residential treatment center, an emergency foster care shelter, and the Local Mental Health Authority.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy by providing unconditional positive regard to all clients no matter where they may be on their journey to healing and utilize humor to deepen relationships and personal insight. I do my best to balance gentle confrontation with knowing when a client isn’t ready to tackle a certain issue just yet.

What you can expect from me

I provide individual therapy to clients 10 years old to adulthood. I also offer parent coaching to caregivers to help further the progress in the home and give support to parents who are experiencing burnout. I want my clients to feel they will be accepted no matter what they might share and create goals that feel realistic and client-centered.
