Great to meet you!

If you've been telling yourself that your problems aren't bad enough for therapy, or that you should just be able to figure it out — I hear that. I've been pushing back on that idea since I was 15, when I first decided I wanted to be a counselor.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, ADD/ADHD, relationship challenges, family stress, and the pressure of trying to hold it all together. Outside of sessions I'm a hiker, roller skater, and world's-best-auntie. Whatever is on your mind is worth talking about. No problem is too small to start.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and conversational — I want you to be able to say anything in our sessions without filtering it first. I work a lot with what I call "mean thoughts": the negative self-talk, the worry spirals, the overthinking that makes daily life harder than it needs to be. I draw on CBT and ACT to help you notice those patterns and actually do something about them.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we'll talk about what you're dealing with and what you're hoping for. If you don't have specific goals yet, that's completely fine — we'll figure it out together. I'm here to encourage you, challenge you when it's useful, and help you find ways to cope that actually fit your life.
