I have been practicing as a mental health counselor for three years and utilize evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA).
EMDR helps individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences by reducing the emotional impact of difficult memories and creating healthier responses. DBT focuses on developing skills to manage emotions, improve relationships, increase distress tolerance, and build effective coping strategies. CETA incorporates therapeutic techniques to address unhelpful thinking patterns, trauma responses, stress management, emotional regulation, and positive behavioral changes.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other life challenges. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals because every person’s journey is different. My previous experience as a Crisis Intervention Specialist has strengthened my ability to provide compassionate support, help clients build resilience, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.
