Great to meet you!

My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive, healing and safe space for you discuss and navigate your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, while connecting it back to any woundings in childhood. I work collaboratively to confront anxiety, trauma, relationship conflict, family dynamics, major life changes and generational trauma. I take a warm, down to earth, person centered approach and am an active participant in the session. I utilize a variety of tools including curiosity, empathy, humor and vulnerability to learn about you, and help create trust in our therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy

I believe that our bodies hold our stories, and it is needed to incorporate body-based wisdom into therapy. I work to support clients in an approach that includes family of origin work, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic experience, inner child/reparenting and parts work. I work to provide a safe space for healing, self-reflection, and empowerment.

What you can expect from me

I focus on your immediate needs & the circumstances bringing you to therapy, today. From there, we work together to unpack the reasons causing your stress. By working backwards, we identify triggers, responses and coping skills acquired. Understanding how trauma impacts us, allows us to be in complete control of our decisions & behaviors moving forward.
