Great to meet you!

My journey into mental health began with a deep interest in the intersection of human behavior and emotional resilience.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults going through life transitions and experiencing trauma. My current practice includes individual treatment helping adults with anxiety and depression, self-esteem/confidence, grief, trauma and life transitions! Finding a therapist with whom you connect with is important.

Over the past 14 years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community clinics and public school settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that therapy is not a "one-size-fits-all" process, but rather a collaborative partnership built on trust and evidence-based strategies!

I hold a Master of Social Work from California State Long Beach as well as a Bachelor of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University..

My approach to therapy

Your experiences matter and your wellbeing is essential. I believe therapy is a form of self-care. It is a time for reflection, insight, and growth. I have a genuine interest in offering you opportunities for healing, effective coping, balance, and clarity. Talking to someone through life's many challenges will improve your inner self and the relationships that matter most to you.

I offer genuine curiosity, warmth and a non-judgmental space where you can find healing and growth. I believe I can help you on your journey to wellness, call or email me today to set up an appointment.

What you can expect from me

The first session, often called an intake session, is naturally a mix of information-gathering and getting a feel for the "vibe" of the relationship! It is less about diving into deep processing and more about laying a stable foundation.

Before we dive into your story, we’ll handle the administrative essentials to ensure you feel secure and informed.

  • Confidentiality: We’ll discuss the legal and ethical limits of privacy so you know exactly how your information is protected.
  • Policies: A quick review of scheduling, cancellations, and how to reach me between sessions.
  • Questions: I’ll leave space for you to ask anything about my credentials, style, or the process itself.

The most important part of the first session isn't the paperwork—it's the connection.

  • Assessment: By the end of the hour, I will share my initial impressions and how I think we can work together.
  • Feedback: I’ll ask how you’re feeling. If for any reason it doesn’t feel like a good match, I’m happy to provide referrals to colleagues who might be a better fit for your specific needs.
