Great to meet you!

I am a seasoned psychotherapist with over 16 years of experience helping adolescents and adults heal from trauma and reclaim their lives. My clinical specialties include trauma-informed care, EMDR, and Sandtray therapy. I am certified in Clinical Sandtray Therapy (CCST) and Certified to Train in Clinical Sandtray Therapy (CCST-T), reflecting advanced expertise in both clinical practice and professional training. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Weber State University and a Master’s in Social Work from Walla Walla University.

My areas of focus address, but are not limited to addiction, anxiety, attachment issues, divorce, family issues, grief and loss, highly sensitive people, parenting concerns, performance enhancement, self-esteem, stress reduction, trauma and women's issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and grounded in powerful research-driven, brain-based modalities that support lasting healing and growth. I integrate EMDR, Sandtray therapy, parts work and mindfulness-based therapy to help individuals and families navigate trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety and emotional overwhelm. Through the therapeutic process, I help clients safely process unresolved experiences and emotions so they can move from survival patterns toward greater clarity, resilience, and healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive and judgment-free space where they feel safe to share at their own pace. We'll spend time getting to know what's bringing you to therapy, exploring current challenges as well as identifying strengths, supports, and goals for treatment. Together, we'll begin building practical coping tools and resources that can provide stability and relief in everyday life. Establishing a strong sense of safety and trust is an important foundation before moving into the deeper therapeutic work and long-term healing goals.
