Great to meet you!
With education and training in clinical mental health counseling, social studies education, and human geography, I view our world through a systemic lens and aim to contextualize all clients within their environments.
In my former career as a teacher, I worked in the co-taught classroom and developed the skills to support those with neurodevelopmental difference. Since then, I have continued educating myself on ways to best support adults with ADHD and Autism.
During graduate school, I sought an internship at a non-profit that provided counseling services for survivors of sexual abuse and interpersonal violence. It was here that I first began the developing skills necessary to assist in the recovery and empowerment of survivors.
My goal is to create a space that is safe, healing, and at times humorous, as we navigate the mundane and the extraordinary. With me you'll find, I do not champion "right" answers, but rather I encourage balance, connectedness, and joy.
