Great to meet you!

If you have been living in survival mode, you do not have to stay there. Many of the people I work with are exhausted from conflict at home, struggling with big life transitions, or carrying emotions they are not sure how to manage alone. My office is a safe space for families, where I offer art, games and non directive play for children and families.

I approach therapy from an attachment and trauma informed perspective and utilize Trauma Focused CBT for 5-18 year olds and their families. My experience comes from 20+ years in social work in hospitals, residential settings, schools and community work

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in attachment, emotional safety, and nervous system regulation, yet at the same time direct and focused on solutions.

Transitions are a normal part of life, and yet can cause some of the deepest stress in our lives. Here are some of the life stages I specialize in:

Families With Young or Neurodiverse Children

Helping parents reduce chaos, improve communication, and create a more peaceful home.

Adolescents & Young Adults

Supporting teens as they navigate identity, trauma, anxiety, depression, independence, and emotional regulation.

Professionals & Leaders

Helping high-achieving individuals reconnect with purpose, relationships, and balance beyond career success.

Women in Mid or later life Transitions

Supporting women later in life who feel stuck, unseen, or emotionally exhausted as they rediscover their voice, boundaries, and sense of self.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope life could look like moving forward. You might be dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or any other issues! I also look at the “whole picture,” recognizing that physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual health are all interconnected.

For families and parents, we may begin identifying patterns within the family system, communication struggles, or behavioral concerns while exploring practical tools to create greater connection, consistency, and peace at home. For adolescents and individuals, I strive to create a safe space where clients can openly process emotions, relationships, identity, trauma, or life transitions without fear of judgment.

My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling hopeful, supported, and with a clearer understanding of the next steps toward healing, growth, and healthier relationships.
