Great to meet you!

As a seasoned practitioner, mom & wife, my capacity to believe in others after they’ve given up on themselves bears life transforming fruit. I hold an MS in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary's School of Psychology & a doctorate from Evangel University. I specialize in treating women with anxiety, depression & trauma related issues. My training in EMDR, CPT, CBT & DBT equips me with strong skills to offer a safe space for you to explore new options for a fresh start.

My approach to therapy

Licensed in the state of California, I am constantly improving myself, acquiring the most current training. I am not only deeply compassionate, but will equip you to think out of the box, problem solve, unearth options you you never thought of. I realize that when coping seems intolerable, and your emotions are raw ~ you’re feeling stuck - it is time to take action. As a person of faith I see every client created with purpose, and as an extremely valuable human being.

What you can expect from me

What happens in your session will be shaped by your particular needs - whether it is space to explore whatever you are experiencing in the moment, or more structured sessions where a clear plan is in place and you know what is going to happen at every session. As a collaborative and strengths-based therapist, I focus on helping clients explore and clarify their personal goals, recognize their strengths, regain a sense of control, and develop the tools they need to move forward.
