Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience working with teens and adults. I believe mental health is just as important as physical health, and that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management concerns, relationship issues, ADD/ADHD, and life transitions that leave them feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what to do next. Some come in struggling with overthinking, low mood, emotional overwhelm, family issues, or difficulty coping with school, work, or relationships. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself, understood without judgment, and encouraged as you work toward healing, growth, and greater confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is open, empathetic, and collaborative. I help clients identify their goals, understand what may be getting in the way, and develop practical tools to move forward. I use an integrated approach so treatment can be tailored to your needs, whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADD/ADHD, stress management, relationship issues, or other emotional and behavioral challenges. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard and when your voice matters in the process. Together, we can build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and find strategies that fit your life rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I usually start by learning more about what brought you to therapy and getting a better understanding of your background, current concerns, and goals. Whether you are coming in for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, family issues, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, we will begin by talking through what has been most difficult and what you hope will feel different moving forward. I also like to provide information about the therapy process so you know what to expect in future sessions. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clearer about the next steps in your work.
