Great to meet you!

It's wonderful to meet you. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, which means I bring two lenses into the room — the clinical training of a therapist and the systems-minded perspective of a social worker. I work with adults who feel stretched thin: the high-functioning person whose anxiety shows up as 3am rumination and a racing mind, the parent running on empty, the person carrying grief or trauma they've never had the space to set down. Many of my clients are also navigating depression, panic, life after a loss, bipolar disorder, or a complicated relationship with substances — often while holding down jobs, families, and the quiet expectation that they should already have it all together. My social work training means I pay attention to your whole picture: the relationships, the histories, and the systems around you — not just the symptoms showing up on the surface. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to sort through it alone, and taking this step already says something about you.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has the capacity to heal — most people have simply never been handed the right tools, or the space to use them. Therapy with me is collaborative and built around you; I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment, so we figure out together what actually helps and adjust as we go. Depending on what you're working through, I draw on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma and PTSD; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety and depression; and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and distress tolerance. I also weave in Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Humanistic and Strength-Based approaches to keep us moving toward what matters most to you. Sessions are warm but focused: we set concrete goals, track what's actually changing, and make room for the harder conversations when you're ready. My job isn't to judge — it's to help you understand yourself and build skills you keep for life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus is simply you — what brought you in, and what you're hoping will feel different. From there, you can expect a space where you're accepted exactly as you are, no matter your background or history. Over time, my clients tend to notice their anxiety growing quieter, their reactions feeling less overwhelming, and their relationships growing steadier. You might find you're sleeping better, setting boundaries you couldn't before, and trusting your own judgment again. Healing isn't always a straight line, and you won't walk it alone — I'll be right alongside you, celebrating the progress and steadying you through the setbacks. You deserve to feel like yourself again, and I'd be honored to be part of how you get there.
