Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. I work with people who feel stuck in their relationship with food, body image, and weight—whether that looks like cycles of restriction and bingeing, constant overthinking about food, or feeling uncomfortable in your body.

I’ve spent my career specializing in eating disorders and body image work, and I also support clients navigating weight-related treatments, including GLP-1 medications—whether you’re considering them, currently using them, or thinking about stopping.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. We’ll look at the patterns that are keeping you stuck, while also building practical tools to help you feel more steady and in control. I pay close attention to the emotional side of this work too—how food and body image connect to identity, self-worth, and how you move through the world.

I aim to create a space where you feel understood, but also supported in making real, lasting changes—so food and body concerns take up less space in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, skills based and focused on helping you make real changes. We’ll look at the patterns driving your relationship with food, body image, and weight—and work on tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

I use evidence-based approaches like CBT-E, DBT, ACT, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. In practice, that means helping you shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, build better coping skills, and develop a more supportive, less critical relationship with yourself.

I pay attention to both what’s happening on the surface (like restriction, bingeing, or body checking) and what’s underneath it. I’m an active therapist—I’ll ask direct questions, share observations, and help you stay on track—while still making sure you feel supported and understood.

If you’re navigating weight-related treatments like GLP-1 medications, I can also help you think through decisions and maintain progress in a way that feels steady and sustainable.

My goal is to help you feel more in control and less consumed by food and body concerns, so you can get back to living your life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect your first session with me to feel grounded, collaborative, and genuinely human—not clinical or intimidating. I focus on creating a space where you can exhale. From the first few minutes, I’m intentional about helping you feel safe, not judged, and met exactly where you are. That means I’m not rushing to assess or label you—I’m listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and making sure you feel understood.

We’ll spend time getting a sense of what’s bringing you in, but also what matters to you—your goals, your patterns, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. I’ll guide the conversation enough so it feels contained and purposeful, while still leaving plenty of room for you to share at your own pace.

By the end of the session, most clients walk away with a clearer sense of direction and a feeling of being supported and understood. When it’s helpful, we may identify a few initial goals or areas to focus on, but there’s no pressure to have it all figured out right away. My priority is that you leave feeling a bit more settled, a bit more understood, and open to the process ahead.
