Great to meet you!

I have experience working in community mental health, outpatient and crisis management. I am passionate about working with teens and adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, improving self advocacy and self esteem, OCD, mood disorders and more. I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness techniques etc to create a supportive environment to nurture my client’s strengths. Other specialties include family therapy and navigating life challenges. Please reach out if you feel I would be a good fit for you, your child or your family. I look forward to working united and making a positive difference.

My approach to therapy

Through my warm and authentic approach, my goal is to create a space that feels safe and supportive enough to result in positive change. I believe that every individual has the capacity and capability to heal, and my goal is to provide support and tools for your success. My therapeutic approach is aimed at identifying client strengths in a collaborative manner and focuses on making each client feel like their unique needs are being acknowledged and met.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me is a comfortable, welcoming space focused on helping you feel heard and at ease. We’ll begin by reviewing confidentiality and your rights as a client so you understand how your information is protected. From there, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, your background, and anything else you feel ready to share. Together, we’ll identify your goals, talk about what’s been working for you, and highlight the strengths and supports you already have. By the end of the session, we’ll create a plan for how we’ll work together, including what therapy may look like, how often we’ll meet, and strategies we may start exploring. You’ll also have time to ask any questions to help you feel comfortable and confident moving forward
