Great to meet you!

Seeking support takes courage, and finding the right therapist can make all the difference. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—no judgment, no pressure, and no expectation that you have to have everything figured out before you start.

I’m a licensed therapist with several years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the everyday stress that can come from juggling work, family, and personal expectations. I also enjoy working with individuals who are neurodivergent or who may be exploring questions about attention, focus, and how their brain works best.

My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. Therapy with me isn’t about being analyzed or lectured—it’s about having a conversation that helps you better understand yourself and develop tools that actually work in your real life.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a space to talk things through, therapy can help you gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation where we explore what’s going on in your life and work together to find strategies that support real change.

I often draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy, which focus on understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Together we look at patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or feeling stuck, and develop tools to help you respond to challenges in healthier and more effective ways.

At the same time, I recognize that every person’s experiences, background, and goals are different. Because of that, I adapt my approach to fit what works best for you. Some sessions may focus on developing practical coping skills, while others may involve exploring deeper patterns or experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and the world.

My goal is for therapy to be a supportive space where you feel understood while also gaining insight, confidence, and skills you can use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable with the therapy process. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what challenges you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might improve or change in your life.

You don’t need to have everything perfectly explained or figured out before you start. Many people come in feeling unsure where to begin, and that’s completely okay. My role is to help guide the conversation in a way that feels supportive and manageable.

We may talk about your current concerns, important life experiences, and what goals you might have for therapy. I’ll also answer any questions you have about how therapy works and what the process might look like moving forward.

By the end of the first session, my hope is that you leave with a clearer sense of what working together might look like and feel more comfortable taking the next steps toward the changes you’re hoping to make.
