Great to meet you!

My passion lies in supporting young professionals aged 20-45 within the BIPOC and Latinx communities, especially those who are children of immigrants and/or first generation college students. I've worked with people of diverse backgrounds dealing with a variety of mental health issues. My work with kids as young as 2 and adults as old as 98 gives me a broad spectrum of experience and expertise. I like to learn from each client and incorporate what they need to reach their goal for therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to focus on empowering clients to embrace their journey with openness and authenticity. I believe that by nurturing the heart and soul, individuals can transform their lives and positively impact their communities. Through interconnectedness, communication, understanding, and vulnerability, I strive to cultivate healthy relationships and foster personal flourishing. I am committed to making a difference one heart and one person at a time.

What you can expect from me

Yolotli Counseling, named after the Nahuatl word for "heart," embodies the essence of life and strength. I am dedicated to fostering mental wellness and cultivating a supportive environment for each client to lead a meaningful and authentic life. You will feel seen and supported from the moment you step into my "office".
