Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Dr. Briana Jones, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and I’m so glad you’re here.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, college students, and young adults, while also caring for patients across the lifespan throughout Florida. My passion is helping individuals and families feel heard, supported, and empowered through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.

My approach blends modern psychiatry with integrative and whole-person care. I believe mental health treatment should look beyond symptoms alone and consider the full picture — including emotional wellness, lifestyle, relationships, stressors, and overall functioning.

My passion for mental health is deeply personal and shaped by both my own experiences and the environment I grew up in, including witnessing the challenges faced by many children and families in my mother’s foster home. Those experiences taught me the importance of empathy, resilience, and the power of feeling truly seen and supported.

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable being themselves. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood concerns, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm, my goal is to help them build confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, and thrive emotionally, mentally, and socially.

I truly believe healing happens through connection, collaboration, and compassionate care, and I feel honored to walk alongside my patients in their journey toward wellness.

My approach to therapy

Our approach combines clinical expertise in psychiatric medication management with a strong understanding of emotional, developmental, and psychosocial wellness across the lifespan.

At NextGen Integrative Psychiatry, we provide personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. While we specialize in supporting children, adolescents, college students, and young adults, we proudly care for patients across all stages of life throughout Florida.

We integrate modern psychiatric treatment with innovative, technology-driven solutions, including telehealth services, pharmacogenetic testing, such as GeneSight®, and collaborative mental health support tools to help improve outcomes and accessibility to care.

Our practice is rooted in empathy, connection, and whole-person wellness. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where patients and families feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

At NextGen Integrative Psychiatry, we are redefining modern mental health care by blending innovation, compassion, and evidence-based science to support lasting emotional wellness and help individuals thrive.

What you can expect from me

Patients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. I believe mental health care should be collaborative, personalized, and centered around the individual — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

My goal is to help patients and families better understand their symptoms, build confidence in their treatment plan, and feel empowered throughout their mental health journey. I take time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and develop treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Patients can expect evidence-based psychiatric care that may include medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, lifestyle and wellness discussions, and integrative approaches when appropriate. I also value collaboration with parents, therapists, schools, primary care providers, and other members of a patient’s support system when beneficial.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, college students, and young adults. Whether someone is navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood concerns, life transitions, behavioral challenges, or emotional overwhelm, my focus is on helping them feel supported, understood, and capable of thriving emotionally, mentally, and socially.

Above all, patients can expect compassionate care rooted in empathy, connection, and a genuine desire to help them heal, grow, and reach their full potential.
