Great to meet you!

I am a therapist with ten years of experience in providing therapy to youth, adults, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping my clients navigate through difficult times and identify potential unhealthy patterns. I hope to lead clients to the root of issues to assist in creating lasting change towards a healthier them. I support adults with treating new or ongoing anxiety/depression, assisting with managing family/relational issues, trauma, grief, medical conditions, psychosomatic concerns, and life transitions/changes. I have helped many children/teens with typical developmental concerns, anxiety/depression, special needs, medical diagnoses, psychosomatic complaints, and their caregivers with support and parenting. I also specialize in family dynamics, children's issues, medical conditions, and sports performance.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy through a few key approaches, including a bio-psycho-social model which examines the interconnectedness of our life experiences, relationships, and physical wellbeing. I also am influenced by attachment theory which focuses on the impact of early relationships on present interactions. I aim to help you understand yourself and your emotions better to give your more control in your own life. Together we will help you reach your goals for therapy.

What you can expect from me

I hope you will feel heard and supported throughout our sessions. I hope you feel understood and feel a sense of comfort. You should also feel challenged in a way that makes sense to you to help you get closer to your overall goals and see a change in life. With support and encouragement, I want to help you experience what you want out of life.
