Great to meet you!

Hola! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, and identity shifts, especially around pregnancy, postpartum, and evolving parenthood. I also support clients working through trauma, self-esteem concerns, burnout, and patterns that no longer feel aligned.

My background includes community mental health and private practice work, and I specialize in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I intentionally serve BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and multicultural clients seeking affirming support.

As both a clinician and a parent, I understand how layered and overwhelming life can feel, particularly when you’re holding everything together on the outside while struggling internally. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded primarily in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and deeper values. All while building practical tools to respond to stress in more flexible and aligned ways.

Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or feelings, we work on increasing psychological flexibility: learning how to make space for internal experiences while still moving toward the life you want to live.

I also incorporate mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and exploration of relational patterns shaped by early experiences. Together, we’ll gently identify the protective strategies that once helped you cope but may now feel limiting, and begin building new patterns rooted in self-awareness, compassion, and intention.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down and get to know each other. We’ll gently explore what’s bringing you in, what’s been feeling heavy, and what support might look like for you right now.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. You can move at your own pace. My role is to create a calm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported.

By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to feel a clearer sense of direction and a better understanding of how we might work together. Most importantly, you’ll have a sense of whether you feel comfortable and safe continuing the work.
