Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Brittany Hamilton, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to improving the quality of life for my clients through a collaborative and supportive approach. I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, build coping skills, and navigate life transitions with clarity and confidence. My goal is to walk alongside you as you face life’s challenges, strengthen emotional resilience, and build healthier relationships with yourself and others. Together, we’ll create a safe space for growth, healing, and meaningful change. You don’t have to do it alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, flexible, and centered on you. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. Because of this, I take an eclectic approach and draw from several therapeutic modalities to meet your individual needs. Some of the evidence-based methods I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused CBT.

In our work together, I will take the time to understand what matters most to you and tailor our sessions in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and effective. Whether you're working through trauma, managing anxiety, or adjusting to a major life transition, my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we’ll work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you, building tools to support your growth and healing along the way.

You deserve a space where you can be yourself and feel supported, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey

What you can expect from me

I prioritize clear and open communication to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for you. My approach to listening is thoughtful and attentive — I practice active listening, making sure you feel truly heard and understood before offering feedback. For example, if you’re sharing something difficult, I’ll take the time to reflect back what I’m hearing and ask gentle questions to help you explore your thoughts and feelings more deeply.

When we encounter challenging moments, you can expect me to respond with calmness, patience, and compassion. I’m here to walk alongside you, providing honest yet gentle guidance, always honoring your pace and your unique experience. Together, we’ll create a trusting space where your voice matters and healing feels possible.
