Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Brittany Turner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges. My background includes working in schools, community settings, and mental health services, where I have helped individuals navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I believe that seeking support is a sign of strength, I create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe that every person is the expert on their own life, and I work alongside client’s to identify strengths, explore challenges, and create realistic steps toward healing and growth. I draw from evidence based approaches including somatic therapy, CBT, strengths-based, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based strategies. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, or life transitions, I focus on providing practical tools and a supportive environment where you can feel empowered to make meaningful changes and improve your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know another and begin building a comfortable, supportive relationship. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, personal strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. There is not pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. By the end of your first session, you’ll have a better understanding of the therapy process, and we’ll begin developing a plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll identify practical steps to help you move toward positive change!
