Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on helping clients better understand themselves and create meaningful change.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both school based and private practice settings. I also work as a college psychology instructor, which helps me explain emotional and relational patterns in clear and approachable ways.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Baptist University.

My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, supported, and challenged toward growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and insight driven. I work to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest while also feeling supported and challenged toward meaningful growth. I believe many emotional struggles are connected to unmet needs, past experiences, relationship dynamics, and the beliefs people develop about themselves over time.

I help clients increase self awareness, understand emotional and behavioral patterns, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others. I tend to blend practical tools with deeper exploration so therapy feels both emotionally meaningful and useful in everyday life.

I work with concerns including anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, emotional regulation, self esteem, stress, and life transitions. I also enjoy helping clients better understand patterns connected to attachment, fear, identity, and interpersonal conflict.

My style is relational, thoughtful, and down to earth. I want clients to feel like they are talking with a real person, not being judged or analyzed from a distance.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and nonjudgmental environment where they can begin sharing their story at their own pace. The first session is focused on getting to know you as a person, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying the goals or changes you would like to work toward.

I also spend time exploring important background information such as relationships, stressors, emotional patterns, and coping strategies so I can better understand the bigger picture of what you are experiencing. My goal is not just to focus on symptoms, but to understand the underlying factors contributing to them.

Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more hopeful about the direction of therapy. Together, we begin building a plan that feels practical, personalized, and supportive of meaningful long term growth.
