Great to meet you!

As a masters prepared, nationally board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my passion for assisting others in their healing comes from walking with loved ones as they sought their own healing.

I have pursued additional training in many therapeutic modalities including cognative behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy, CBT-Insomnia, EMDR. I am also in the process of being certified as a sex addiction therapist.

My approach to therapy

I work to help you understand what is occurring in your brain as well as empower you by giving you treatment options. We will then evaluate those options together to determine what is the best course of action for you and your situation. I chose to walk with you as you pursue healing and to nurture and inspire the hope that is in you. In addition I utilize talk therapy to address your issues. And if desired we will integrate Biblical Christian Principles in your journey towards wholeness.

What you can expect from me

Understanding of what is occurring in your brain, collaborate with me to create your treatment plan which will include what medication can and cannot do to aid you in your healing, as well as the pros and cons of those medications. We then will work together to follow the treatment plan we created and adapt it as you grow in your healing.
