Our lives are made up of stories. Some chapters are beautiful, while some can be tragic. As we create our own narrative to the events of our lives, rushing to find some semblance of normalcy, we often become lost, challenged, overwhelmed. We forget there is beauty and resiliency in not only the events that bring us joy, but also the events that may not. As a licensed social worker, I work with you to identify meaning in each story that you share.

Utilizing a humanistic and solution-focused approach with a strength-based lens, I will help you learn effective strategies to cope with the demands in your life. I understand that moments in our lives can leave us feeling challenged, but I also know that together we can transcend adversities, bringing new and clearer perspective so you may live a happier life.

I have a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I offer counseling for stress, anxiety, depression, educational pathways, as well as relationship issues.
