Great to meet you!

Greetings! My name is Camilla Cryer. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia with a diverse background, holding degrees in Liberal Arts and Psychology, and a Master's in Community Counseling. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Counseling and Psychological Studies. I currently provide counseling services for clients with various clinical diagnoses using evidence-based treatment modalities. Additionally, I actively serve in a local crisis facility as a relief counselor.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My diverse background equips me to address a wide range of mental health challenges and life situations. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing.

I use evidence-based theoretical orientations, which include strategies from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Family Systems Model-Structural, and Positive Behavioral Support.

What you can expect from our first session

I am here to support individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, parenting, and other significant life experiences. I will provide a safe space to explore your emotions and behaviors and heal from past wounds. Together, we will work towards fostering resilience, improving your emotional well-being, and building healthier relationships. My goal is to empower my clients, helping them navigate through their difficulties and fostering positive changes in their lives.
