Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed since 2013. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2012 and completed my clinical internship in 2025. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples across a variety of settings.

I spent 12 years working in medical care, where I gained extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating chronic illness, complex medical conditions, and later-life transitions. I currently work primarily with teenagers and also have experience providing therapy to children as young as five.

My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and collaborative, with a focus on meeting clients where they are and supporting meaningful growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is strength-based and protective, focusing on identifying and building upon each client’s existing abilities, resilience, and supports. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and I work collaboratively to help them develop practical tools for growth and emotional well-being.

I am well versed in working within the school system and collaborating with schools to support children and adolescents in navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges.

I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to develop effective coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and life transitions.

My goal is to create a supportive, structured, and empowering environment where clients feel safe, understood, and capable of meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We will start by talking about what brings you to therapy and what prompted you to seek support at this time.

You can expect to share what you hope to gain from therapy, any concerns you would like to address, and what has or has not been helpful for you in the past. This session is also a time for you to ask questions and learn more about my approach.

I value an open-minded and collaborative approach to therapy. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward your goals.
