Great to meet you!

I’m a clinical social worker in the state of NY. I graduated from City College in 2000 with a bachelor's in psychology and obtained MSW from Adelphi's University in 2010. I have worked at Rikers Island Prison as a therapist and community liaison. Clinical experience comes from Jewish Board services. I work at DOE in New York as a certified bilingual social worker within the special education department. I also provide ABA to children in the autism spectrum between the age of 1-3 years old.

My approach to therapy

I create a safe space where all clients feel heard and understood, which is crucial when building trust and facilitating meaningful change. Knowing that everyone is different and has unique needs, I implement person-centered techniques, to achieve a person’s full potential, building and implementing coping strategies. Cognitive behavior therapy is also another modality I will implement; to help those manage unhealthy emotional thoughts to improve life quality and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Increased awareness, coping mechanism strategies; a sense of empowerment and self worth to make positive changes in their lives,

Se habla Español.
