Great to meet you!

I’m a Georgia LCSW and Doctor of Social Work (DSW) providing culturally responsive, evidence-informed therapy for adults navigating multiple life issues. I’m especially passionate about supporting clients who have learned to “push through” for everyone else while quietly carrying too much. My approach is collaborative and practical. I tailor treatment to your goals, whether you want symptom relief, stronger coping skills, improved relationships, or deeper self-understanding and awareness.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and practical, grounded in CBT and mindfulness, and informed by psychodynamic and trauma-informed care, so we can address both immediate symptoms and the deeper patterns that keep you feeling stuck. I’ll help you feel understood while also helping you make meaningful, practical changes, so you leave sessions with insight and tools you can use in real life. My style blends evidence-informed approaches (CBT and mindfulness) with deeper, insight-oriented work to address both current symptoms and the patterns underneath them. I’m direct but warm, and I move at your pace while keeping our work focused.

What you can expect from me

In the first sessions, we identify what’s bringing you in (symptoms, stressors, and patterns) and what you want to be different, emotionally, relationally, and day-to-day. Together we translate ambitious goals into specific, realistic steps, often using CBT-style, measurable goals (frequency/intensity/duration of symptoms; sleep; boundaries; communication; coping skills).
