Great to meet you!

I hold a PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certified) credential through Postpartum Support International, which reflects specialized training in the emotional and psychological experiences surrounding fertility, pregnancy, birth, loss, and early parenthood—areas that many therapists haven’t had the opportunity to focus on in depth. For many of the clients I work with, that level of specificity really matters.

I’m also trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, which offers a practical, research-informed framework for navigating conflict, disconnection, and the strain that reproductive challenges can place on a relationship. I bring six years of experience to this particular work, along with a warm, creative, and collaborative approach.

I’m affirming of all identities and family structures, and I strive to create an inclusive space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples feel fully welcomed and supported. At the core of my work is the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is where meaningful change happens, so I’m intentional about building a connection that feels genuine, safe, and allows you to show up as your full self.

I also work with those experiencing relationship challenges, family conflict, grief, parenting-related stress, anxiety, and depression.

My approach to therapy

I tend to work in a relational, attachment-focused way. I believe that what hurts us often has roots in connection—and that healing happens there too. I meet people where they are emotionally, which means my approach is flexible rather than one-size-fits-all.

I draw from ACT to help people shift their relationship with painful thoughts, and from somatic work when experiences feel like they live more in the body than in words. With couples, I use the Gottman Method when it’s helpful to have concrete tools alongside deeper understanding. I also bring in Mindful Self-Compassion, especially when someone has been holding grief or self-criticism for a long time.

My work is also influenced by AEDP and other experiential approaches, which means I pay close attention to what’s happening emotionally in the moment—not just what’s being talked about, but what’s being felt.

At the core of all of it is the belief that something meaningful can happen when two people are really paying attention, together.

What you can expect from me

Our first conversations are just that—conversations, not intake forms. I’m interested in understanding the specific shape of what you’re carrying—not just a list of symptoms, but what your days have actually been feeling like and what led you to reach out right now.

There’s no pressure to have it all figured out or to know exactly what you need. Most people don’t when they start. We’ll take the time to figure out, together, what kind of support will actually feel like support for you—and go from there.

You’re also welcome to come in with questions for me.
